The March Updates for Walkabout Mini Golf are all done! March has been a thrilling month for Walkabout Mini Golf players! There are some exciting updates that bring fresh challenges, new gameplay mechanics, and even a brand-new course to explore. Whether you’re an experienced pro or a newcomer, there’s something for everyone in this month’s update. Let’s take a closer look at each of these updates.
Slingshot Challenge on Sweetopia Course

One of the standout features of this month’s update is the introduction of the Slingshot Challenge on the Sweetopia course. This sugary-themed course, known for its vibrant, candy-coated design, has now added a fun and challenging twist to its gameplay.
In the Slingshot Challenge, players must use a unique mechanic to launch their golf balls to hit targets. This adds a level of precision and timing to the course that will require skillful aim and strategic thinking to complete. It’s the perfect way to spice up the traditional mini-golf gameplay, pushing players to think outside the box. This is not the first course that has received the slingshot update. Make sure to check out this mode on many other courses as well.
For those who enjoy a bit of competition, this challenge offers a fantastic opportunity to rack up those leaderboard points, while also introducing a new layer of enjoyment to the already sweet-themed environment of the course. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a newcomer to Walkabout Mini Golf, the Slingshot Challenge promises to be an unforgettable experience.
Low Gravity Mode on the Tourist Trap Course

For those looking for a more relaxed, physics-defying experience, the Low Gravity Mode on the Tourist Trap course is a game-changer. This new mode allows players to experience the familiar course with a twist—reduced gravity!
In this mode, your golf ball behaves differently, bouncing higher and rolling slower than usual. It’s a perfect opportunity to experiment with the course’s more complex obstacles and discover new ways to make those tricky shots. If you’ve always wanted to see how the Tourist Trap course plays when you’re defying gravity, this mode is a must-try. It’s a fun and lighthearted way to enjoy a familiar favorite in a totally new way!
Leafblower Activity on the Alfheim Course

The Alfheim course, inspired by lush forests and mythical landscapes, gets an exciting update with the addition of the Leafblower Activity. This new feature allows players to interact with the environment in a fresh and fun way. Use a leafblower to clear the course of obstacles or debris in your path.
The Leafblower activity brings a bit of whimsy and unpredictability to the course. Imagine trying to get the perfect shot while you’re clearing away leaves, branches, and other natural elements. It’s an added level of interaction that feels right at home in the mystical, nature-filled environment of Alfheim.
Mini Mode on the Tourist Trap Course

If you think you’ve mastered the Tourist Trap course, think again! The new Mini Mode takes the familiar environment and shrinks it down to a whole new scale. In this mode, you are smaller, however, your ball, the obstacles, and even the course layout itself stay the same. This creates a unique and challenging experience.
Mini Mode is a great way to approach the course from a completely different perspective. The smaller scale requires a different perspective on each hole. This update is perfect for players who want to test their skills in a fresh way while still enjoying the quirky fun of the Tourist Trap course.
The Mount Olympus Course: A New Release

The crown jewel of March’s updates is the release of the stunning Mount Olympus course. This brand-new course takes players on an epic journey through ancient Greek mythology. You’ll find majestic temples, towering statues, and an awe-inspiring mountain landscape. Players will putt their way through the mystical Mount Olympus, navigating around challenging obstacles inspired by the gods themselves.
The Mount Olympus course is beautifully designed, offering a mix of breathtaking scenery and difficult gameplay. This will keep you engaged for hours as it did with me! With its unique theme and challenging layout, it’s quickly becoming a fan favourite. I will say that it is my personal new favourite course. Whether you’re exploring the grand temples or battling the gods for the perfect hole-in-one, the Mount Olympus course is a must-visit this month.
Bug Fixes and Performance Enhancements
No game update is complete without a few improvements under the hood, and Walkabout Mini Golf is no exception. The March update has introduced various bug fixes and performance enhancements, ensuring that players experience smoother and more stable gameplay.
There were some putting glitches that seemed to increase after the Las Elvis course release in January. These have been addressed and appear to hav been fixed.
The team at Mighty Coconut is always working diligently to keep things running smoothly!
