AMVR has been a leader in VR accessories for years. Their link cables have not disappointed in terms of quality and usability. The LC6L provides a stable connection for PCVR while the LC6 not only provides a stable connection but has an extra charging capabilities to keep your VR headset fully charged while playing!

Design Review
Let’s start with similarities between the two. Each of these link cables in the standard 16ft. This length is optimal for freedom and to not lose data transfer speed in the cable. They are both made of a braided material. This material means less tangles, better durability, and easier use. Each cable also has an attached adapter for USB-C connections. So whether your PC has a better USB-A or USB-C port it doesn’t matter. Each cable’s data transfer speed it high and secure.
The difference comes with the LC6 Fast-Charging VR Link Cable as it has an additional piece partway up the cable. This extra piece allows the VR headset to charge and keep charged while playing. You must plug-in your own charging cable into the proper slot. This is a great addition to the LC6L cable and now you don’t have to worry about battery levels when playing.
Which Would I Recommend
Considering the price difference is only about $6, I would definitely recommend the LC6 over the LC6L. The ability to keep your headset charged while playing is a huge benefit.
In comparing the AMVR LC6 Fast-Charging VR Link Cable to other link cables from other companies, I would still recommend the LC6. I’ve tested quite a few link cables from other companies. While some have shared features like charging abilities, and even providing USB-C adapters, none have the nice braided material like this one does. You’d be surprised how much of a difference that makes in the overall feel and quality of the cable.
So if you’re looking for a solid VR Link Cable, I would definitely recommend the AMVR LC6!
