How many of these games have you played? I’m a little ashamed to say that I have played less than half of them! But this has given me a great list of games to add to my wishlist and look at in the future!
I wanted to go through some of these games and give my thoughts and experiences!
1. Beat Saber
Coming in at #1 is really no surprise. Beat Saber has turned into the face of VR gaming. This was one of the first games I tried in VR, and it is still one I play quite often. Some of my favourite music packs are Linkin Park and Fall Out Boy.

3. Superhot VR
Since they had a demo, this was one I tried quite soon in VR as well, after I got my Meta Quest 2. We purchased the full version after a couple of evenings of playing the demo with my family. A fun and challenging game that introduces you to the reality of a VR game being all around you!

13. Vader Immortal Episode III
I haven’t played this one all the way through (even though I’ve heard it is a pretty short game), but I do really enjoy the training arena in this game. I have a controller attachment that makes it feel like I’m really holding a lightsaber, so the immersion level is top notch!

16. Population: One
I didn’t get this game until it was free. But the fact that it is still on the list as one of the top-selling games means that it sold a lot of copies before it was listed as free. If you can get past the number of kids screaming on this game, it is actually quite good!

17. GOLF+
One of my favourite sport games, Golf+. The courses have been increasingly better and the physics have been improved over the years. With my Yezro golf club attachment, you almost feel like you are really out on the course!

20. Walkabout Mini Golf
I’m not surprised that Walkabout Mini Golf is in the Top 20. This is my all-time favourite VR game. They continue to put out amazing content at a very reasonable price. If you haven’t tried Walkabout Mini Golf, you need to go get it right now!
My favourite course to date is the Mount Olympus course. I’ve always been a fan of Greek Mythology, and they definitely did it justice here.

44. The Room VR: A Dark Matter
Early on in the Oculus life before it became Meta, The Room VR: A Dark Matter was one of the faces of VR. It is still a super fun experience and one I would recommend to those who love immersive environments and puzzles!

49. Moss
Quill stole the hearts of so many VR users in this fun third-person perspective adventure/puzzle VR game. The scenery is beautiful, the controls are easy to learn, and the levels get increasingly difficult. This is one of my favourite games to play while sitting down as it brings the idea of classic TV gaming into VR.

Notable Titles That Didn’t Make The List
Batman: Arkham Shadow
Though Batman is one of the most widely owned games, this is because Meta was giving this game away when you purchased a new headset. This doesn’t take away from the quality of the game, however, it is not one of the top “selling” games.

Asgard’s Wrath 2
Similar to Batman, Asgard’s Wrath 2 was free with the purchase of a new Quest 3 when it was released. I’ve heard from many VR users that this game knocked it out of the park. With their marketing strategy, Meta wanted this game to help encourage people to buy a Quest 3 in the first place.

Iron Man VR
Iron Man VR was first released for PSVR in 2020 and didn’t come out on the Quest until 2022. Though it was a highly anticipated game that was highly liked, it didn’t break the charts of the 50 Top-Selling Games.

Demeo
Demeo is loved by many but hasn’t cracked the 50 Top-Selling list. It has very high ratings on the Meta and the Steam store. I believe that it hasn’t cracked this list because it has a smaller fan base than other games. It might not fit everyone’s interests, but it is still a solid game!

Gorilla Tag/Rec Room/ VRChat
Though apps like Gorilla Tag, Rec Room, and VRChat are some of the most downloaded games, this list is talking about the top-selling games. These apps aren’t considered for this list since they are free!
