If you’re a VR golf fan, you know that immersion is everything. The AMVR Golf Club Attachment for Meta Quest 3 and 3s takes Golf+ and Walkabout Mini Golf to the next level by transforming your controller into something that feels like a real golf club. I’ve been testing the extendable version, and here’s what I found.

Key Features
Realistic Feel
The club comes equipped with weight blocks to add mass and torque, giving swings a more authentic sensation. It’s not as heavy as some other attachments I’ve tried, but it still provides a nice balance between realism and comfort.
Tracking Accuracy
One of the biggest concerns with VR accessories is whether they mess with tracking. Thankfully, this one doesn’t. The 80-degree angle design keeps the controller aligned with the headset at all times, and in my experience, I had zero tracking issues.
Dual Protection
This attachment locks in tight. It includes a custom battery cover that you must use in order to properly secure the controller in the handle. This ensures stability and safety, along with the adjustable wrist strap knob for added protection.
⚠️ Note: Because you need to use the included AMVR battery cover, this accessory isn’t compatible with Quest 3 rechargeable battery covers or other third-party options. If you rely on one of those, keep this in mind before purchasing.
Adjustable Length
This is where the extendable version really shines. You can adjust it from 17.7 inches to 25.6 inches, depending on your space and play style. In smaller rooms, I liked the shorter setup—especially for Walkabout Mini Golf. For Golf+, I preferred the extended length, which felt much closer to a real club.
Ergonomic Grip
Unlike 3D-printed handles that can feel rough or cheap, this one uses professional-grade golf grip materials. It’s non-slip, comfortable in the hands, and doesn’t interfere with button access.
Easy Setup
Installation only takes a few seconds. Snap your controller in with the included battery cover, tighten the strap, and you’re ready to tee off.
My Experience
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using the AMVR golf club attachment. It’s lightweight compared to some competitors, easy to install, and feels stable during gameplay. While it doesn’t include adjustable weight options, the extendable design makes up for it by letting you choose the right length for your setup.
For me, the shorter option works best in Walkabout Mini Golf, while the extended length makes Golf+ far more immersive. At its price point, I think it’s a great accessory that adds a lot of realism without breaking the bank.
As noted before, you will have to use their battery cover in order to secure the controller into

Final Verdict on the AMVR Golf Club Attachment
If you’re serious about VR golf, this attachment is absolutely worth it. It strikes the right balance between realism, comfort, and functionality. The extendable feature gives it an edge over fixed-length clubs, making it versatile for different games and play spaces.
Just be aware that it requires the included AMVR battery cover to work, so if you rely on rechargeable covers, this may not be the best fit.
Rating: 4/5 – Highly Recommended for Golf+ and Walkabout Mini Golf players.
