Check out how to access and change the new “Scenery” option (old virtual environments) on V81+ on Meta Quest 3 and 3s. Unfortunately, with V81 all of the Virtual Environments that we loved are gone. We are now limited to 4 “Scenery” options at this time. These options are not in the settings menu like the Virtual Environments were, they have to be accessed in a different way.

They’ve also changed where you can access these changes. Before, you needed to go into the settings and find the Virtual Environments tab. However, now, you need to press the menu button on the left controller to bring them up.

This will then bring up a menu in front of you where you can download and then switch between the currently four different types of scenery.

I think most of us (if not all) will miss many of those old virtual environments. Or at least the much wider variety and ability to customize them more. I loved switching between the various options depending on what I was feeling that day. I’m a big Lord of the Rings fan so I really did like that one that they had.
